As 2025 comes to a close, we’ve been reflecting on the progress, innovation and collaboration that shaped a standout year for Claritas and the global seismic processing community. From offshore wind campaigns to complex land and marine surveys, our clients pushed boundaries and we were proud to support them with technology and training that helped deliver high-quality seismic results.
Here are some of the Claritas 2025 Highlights from the year gone by.
We advanced our imaging capabilities through the introduction of Surface-Consistent Deconvolution for 5-component, multi-factor corrections. This enhancement improved spectral fidelity and helped teams resolve subtle geological features with greater clarity.
The launch of our new WANGSHIFT module enabled processors to refine SRME models more effectively and achieve cleaner, more stable adaptive subtraction results, especially in challenging marine environments.
Our new Python-based seismic viewer was widely adopted by both commercial and academic teams. With frequency spectra, FK analysis and instantaneous attributes available at a glance, users gained faster, deeper QC insight throughout their workflows.
The new HRSTATICS module delivered precise water-bottom statics for ultra-high-resolution marine campaigns, supporting offshore wind development, site characterisation and cable-route planning.
Our transition to OpenMPI improved parallel processing efficiency and strengthened HPC compatibility. Clients can now scale seamlessly from a laptop to a large compute cluster with minimal configuration changes.
The improvements delivered throughout 2025 translated directly into real-world field performance. One major European acquisition team noted that they “took Claritas to their last offshore campaign and were thrilled with the performance and stability it provided,” echoing the feedback we heard across land, marine and offshore wind projects. Users consistently reported greater stability, faster workflows and increased confidence in their processing results.
Beyond technology, 2025 was also an exceptional year for Claritas training. Our team delivered seismic processing courses across multiple regions, supporting geophysicists, researchers and energy companies as they strengthened their technical capabilities.
Training covered fundamentals through to advanced workflows, including statics, velocity analysis, SRME, deghosting and PreSTM/PreSDM, and was delivered on-site, online and through flexible “course-in-a-box” formats. We were especially proud to collaborate with universities and technical institutes, helping the next generation of geoscientists build hands-on processing expertise.
We’re incredibly excited for what comes next. 2026 will bring new capabilities, new collaboration opportunities and a refreshed way of presenting how Claritas sits within the broader Petrosys Group technology ecosystem. More on that early in the new year.
