Petrosys Group is pleased to announce the release of Claritas V.2026.1.1, delivering a range of enhancements designed to improve seismic processing performance, workflow efficiency, and data quality control.
This release also marks an important milestone for the product as GLOBEClaritas transitions to Claritas, aligning the software with the Petrosys Group brand. While the name and visual branding have been updated, the functionality, workflows, and processing capabilities remain unchanged.
Claritas continues to provide the reliable seismic processing environment trusted by geophysicists and processing teams worldwide.
The latest release introduces several new capabilities and improvements across the Claritas processing environment, including:
AI/ML-Assisted Water Bottom Picking
A new water bottom picking application uses AI/ML techniques to estimate and pick the water bottom on HR and UHR seismic datasets, helping improve efficiency in high-resolution marine workflows.
SeisViewer Released as Full Production Tool
SeisViewer is now available as a full production release, providing enhanced 3D seismic visualisation with support for inline, crossline, and timeslice displays, along with improvements to analysis tools and header handling.

Improved Velocity Model Export from Tomo3D
Export capabilities for near-surface velocity models have been enhanced, enabling these models to be used more effectively as part of initial depth velocity models.
Expanded QC Capability in the AREAL Module
The AREAL module now supports calculation and output of peak frequency attributes, enabling additional field QC analysis and visualisation within AREAL or Condor.
New SEG-Y to Claritas NMO Conversion Utility
A new utility enables SEG-Y velocity models to be converted into Claritas NMO3D ASCII format for display in Isovels and use within the IMAGE_K3D module.
As part of the transition to the Petrosys Group brand, Claritas now features updated product branding and visual styling throughout the software.
